Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You

And so it begins…the plethora of photos.

snowbird

A few weeks ago when my fella & I were in Utah, we rode the tram at Snowbird. The view was gorgeous! I took a few photos, and by few I mean a ton.

Look how happy we look! Well we were totally faking it, because we were freezing our buns off. The only reason I could force a smile was because I was thinking about the tram returning and heat coming back to my body. But despite the cold, the ride was absolutely worth it. I mean check out that view!

Beach Bum

You can thank my mom for this post. She yelled at my yesterday for not posting anything recently. So this is to keep her happy and to ensure that she continues to feed me when I come home (actually, that’s the main reason).

I had the chance to visit southern California a few weeks ago. It was my first time there and the beaches were beautiful!

What’s that white stuff on the rocks, you ask? Poop. Lots of poop. So, of course I took a picture to share with all of you. If only I could capture the smell. Breathtaking.

I must admit that I can’t take credit for the last two photos. My fella took those. Not too shabby, eh?

More Sand in Unwanted Places

I meant sand in unwanted places like the car, and in my beach bag, and in the house. I’m not sure what you were thinking. Pervert.

This little lady loved the water. She would laugh and kick at the waves. I think she liked it mostly because we told her she could pee in the ocean. Isn’t that why the water gets so warm by the end of the summer? All those tourists peeing in it?

And this is the pizza that we eat for lunch EVERYDAY. Yup, that’s right. EVERY. DAY. Because it is delicious and that’s how we roll. Do you see the grease glistening in the light? Yummm.

My nephew is so stealthy, hiding behind his pizza crust. I almost didn’t see him there. Did you?

More pizza because one slice is never enough.

More beach pictures to follow next week. Yes, more. I told you I have a lot.

Have a good weekend!

Sand, Sun & Surf

Every year my family goes to the beach for a week. This usually includes my parents, my sisters, my niece and nephews and my grandmas…all in one house…fun right? Our annual trip was last week. I am going to warn  you, there are a lot of photos (none of my grandmas in their swimsuits, disappointing I know). I’ll post them all through out the week. Here are the first few photos.

My Excuse

Sorry for not giving you any Wise Words for your Monday morning. The reason is, I ran into Captain America the other day (see picture below) and we’ve just been so busy saving the world that I didn’t have time to write you a blog post. You can understand where my priorities stand, can’t you?

But, I will resume with normal frequency (hopefully) the rest of this week.

Gone Fishing

Went fishing near my parent’s house a few weekends ago…

My niece is pretty in her polka dots!

That’s one of my three sisters. She looks angry doesn’t she? She’ll be even angrier when she sees I put this on the internet.

The dog joined in on the fun too. All you can see is its head sticking out of the water.

My nephew was the only one to catch anything (besides a ton of algae or “allergy” as they liked to call it).

Above is the fish in a bucket. Mmmm dinner. Ok, fine, we didn’t actually eat it. We threw it back in the pond. We ate the horses.

(That was a joke).

My Sister’s House

My sister feeds me once a week (what a gem!) and I get to hang out with my nephews and niece. Here are some pictures from one of my recent visits.

My nephews are silly. And so darn cute!

I let one of them take a picture with my phone. His finger got in the way. I like the way it came out.

This time his finger didn’t get in the way. However, our heads are cut off.

This is my brother-in-law at his best.
