Birthdays Are Fun

This is the card that I made for my friend’s birthday.

Inside:

I think it’s an all occasion card really. It could be used for a graduation or even Mother’s Day. What mom wouldn’t enjoy this card? Nothing says “I love you” like this card does. That’s some true appreciation there.

Kicking Things Off Right!

newyear

Oh hey! Long time no post, eh? I have a tendency to post something and then disappear into thin air for 3-4 months. I’ve become quite good at it. Well, I’ve decided that this year I will stop doing that and push myself to be more creative. Let’s give it a whirl, shall we? Here we go, on to a new year!

A Spot of Tea

We celebrated Mother’s Day early by going to tea last weekend. Doesn’t it look so fancy? We were very fancy too, of course. For most of the time, my niece (shown here) was shouting “cock a doodle doo” and flapping her arms like a chicken, which seems like the normal thing to do while enjoying tea. The people around us were so impressed by our level of sophistication.

My other niece, was obviously enjoying herself too. I know that whenever I am having the time of my life, I cover my face with whatever is within arm’s reach, in an attempt to contain my excitement. I did it at a house warming party just last weekend. It’s a sure sign of a good time.

That chocolate covered strawberry didn’t know what hit it. She mauled that thing.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers! Have a great day!

My dear friend Abe

Since Monday was President’s Day, I decided to celebrate by wearing some red, white and blue.

Actually it was more of a coral than it was red, but I think it was a good attempt. I’m sure my friend Abe Lincoln appreciated it. Even my collection of bracelets matched. Now tell me, who can’t appreciate that? I’m sure the thank you letters from past presidents will just start flooding in.
